BARCODE REVIEW - ISSUE 1

Win A Barcode Battler!

Do you remember those controversial games in the early nineties, which were heavily featured, well, just about anywhere really? Well, we have hundreds of the damn things to give away, mainly because the manufacturer can't shift them.

So what do I have to do?

It's simple, really it is. All you have to do is design your own barcode - It can be for any product you like, and as colourful as you like. But the main thing is, when we take it into Tesco's to try out on their Barcode Scanner checkpoint thing, it has to actually recognise the barcode!

Please send all your efforts on the back of a (two metre long) postcard or stuck down envelope to:

I've designed a barcode, so can I have my Barcode Battler now, please? competition

Rules

1. The editor's decision is final
2. All entries must be in by yesterday, else they will get lost in the post (the address doesn't actually exist, you see)
3. No employees of Barcode Review or the company that produces the Barcode Battler are eligible to enter
4. The first 6000 'correct' (ie. working) entries out of the hat will WIN! Everyone else will lose, and be made to feel really stupid as we read out their names and show their pathetic attempts at drawing barcodes live on national television.
5. A special prize may be awarded to people who correctly manage to give their house number in barcode notation.
6. This isn't a real competition, and all entries will be binned.
